Rover Cars
From Rover 75 to Range Rover, Rover cars are one of the British car manufacturers with most stories to tell.
Rover was founded in 1885 by John Kemp Starley and William Sutton. In early days the company focused on building modern bicycle, tricycle, and motorcycle. In 1888, Starley made an electric car but it was never put into production.

The car manufacturing goes on until 1904, the first series of Rover cars were built, the Rover 8 (Rover Eight). Two years later in 1906, the second car model made by Rover was debuted to the market, the Rover 6. The Rover 6 was a three-speed-manual car. During 1920s, Rover is well-known in making luxury and quality cars and this characteristic has kept until today. Whoever own Rover cars will know this. In 1929, Rover 10/25 was introduced and approximately 15,000 cars were made during four years production. |
In 1947, Land rover was added to the brand, which is now the second-oldest four-wheel drive car brand in the world after Jeep cars. Land rover parts, range rover parts, rover car insurance are available for sale in many places.

Rover had built many car models under Rover brand from 1904 to 1976 and under MG Rover from 2000 to 2005. Besides some of the listed Rover models above, there are some other notable Rover cars like Rover Light Six, Rover 400 9414/416/418/420), Rover P4, Rover P6, Land Rover Defender, Land Rover Freelander, Rover Mini, Rover 200, and among others.
Today, there are no more Rover cars in production and this car brand is considered dormant. The brand Land Rover is now owned by Tata Motors. However, many used Rover parts are still available for sale through some car parts shop and Rover Owners club around the world.
