Eleven most famous car brands slipped into the top 100 brands of 2011
Few more days we going to say good bye to the year of 2011 and welcome 2012. Again, it is time to look back what we did and plan for what we are going to do. This year, the top ten most famous car brands including Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Honda, Volkswagen, Ford, Audi, Hyundai, Porsche, Nissan, and Ferrari have slipped into the top 100 brands of 2011 with the total brand value of 138.7 billion.

#47 Volkswagen, $7,857 million brand value
#50 Ford, $7,483 million brand value

#61 Hyundai, $6,005 million brand value
#72 Porsche, $4,580 million brand value
#90 Nissan, $3,819 million brand value
#99 Ferrari, $3,591 million brand value
As we can see from the chart below, the eleven car brands here are doing a great job. Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Ford, and Porsche are maintaining their position same with as year with the growth percentage of 6%, 9%, 10%, 4%, and 4% each. Honda, the second largest Japanese car maker, has a 5% grow in total value and rank from #20 last year to #19 this year. The German car maker Volkswagen and Audi has good improvement too. As for Hyundai, it is the only Korean car brand represent in the chart here.
At number #90, we see Nissan as a new comer into the top 100 brand list. This has proven the brand has a huge enhancement since last year. The only car brand that has a little fall in ranking is the famous Italian exotic car maker Ferrari. However, the fall doesn’t really affect the brand because it has a 1% of growth in the brand value compared to last year. What we would say? Bravo! Let’s give a big clap for all these car brands.
