Only 983 were produced in between 1963 and 1965. Everyone knows that James Bond only choose the best car to drive, and the Aston Martin DB5 has been featured in several Bond’s film. In 2006, one of the most notable Bond’s ride was auctioned for US $2,090,000.

8. Lamborghini Countach

The sharply angled look Lamborghini Countach is almost every guy’s dream car. While it is no longer in production and the newer Lamborghini no longer has sharply angled look, the Countach has become a car that car collectors would love to grab. The scissor doors, futuristic styling, and the design from rear to front to top are all significant designs in this iconic sports car. In the ‘80s, a brand new Countach had a base price around $100,000. Today, if you are lucky to find one, it will be at least $600,000 or above the amount.

Only six of the Bugatti Royale (Bugatti Type 41) were built from 1927 to 1933. Each of them has a special name and profile including Bugatti Royale Coupe Napolean, Bugatti Royale Coupe de Ville Binder, Bugatti Royale Cabriolet Weinberger, Bugatti Royale Limousine Park-Ward, Bugatti Royale Kellner car (1931), and Bugatti Royale Berline de Voyage. The 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe was sold in 1987 for $8.7 million (roughly equal to $17.6 million as of Oct 2011). The car marked the highest price paid for a car at auction. It is often refer as the most expensive car in the world.

There is something unique with the Jaguar E-Type, the irreplaceable shape. It is also the main reason that this car has become one of the 100 most beautiful cars of all time, all the time. It is also one of the most sought-after cool cars we miss.

Alfa Romeo 8C (1931-1939), Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster, Talbot-Lago T150C, and Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 are some of the cars that will appreciate. However, these cars are also the rare species you can find on the surface of our planet today.

In conclusion, if you ever noticed, most of the cars that have significant collector values are cars with special outlook and cool shape, cars with histories from noteworthy racing events, Le Mans-wining cars, cars in famous and cool movies, or cars driven by famous racer before. These are the few main reasons that make these cars value appreciate over the time and not depreciate.
