America-born Plymouth was founded decades ago in 1928 by Chrysler Corporation. This car marquee is to target low-price market. Plymouth cars was originally sold through Chrysler dealerships in late 1920s.
During early time, not much of Plymouth cars were built. Some of the notable Plymouth during that time was the Plymouth Model Q Coupe and Plymouth De Luxe. Just like any other car brands, Plymouth production was affected by World War. In late 1940s and 1950s, we saw some of the great Plymouth born right after World War ends such as the Plymouth De Luxe, Plymouth Fury, and Plymouth Savoy. In 1960s, the best decade to see the birth of many great Plymouth muscle cars. During that time, Plymouth biggest competitors are Ford and Chevrolet.

Plymouth notable models
- Plymouth Duster – There are three generations for Plymouth Duster which are: 1970 to 1976 (first generation), 1985 to 1987 (second generation), and 1992 – 1994 (third generations).
- Plymouth Barracuda (1964 – 1974) – The Plymouth Barracuda is one of the most sought-after Plymouth cars and also muscle cars.
- Plymouth Prowler – The lifetime is short for this car, the production only available for 1997, and 1999 to 2002.
- Plymouth Fury (1956 – 1978)
- Plymouth Road Runner (1968 – 1980) – Started in 1968 and ended in 1980, the Plymouth Road Runner is another huge success in Plymouth history.
- Plymouth Superbird – Plymouth Superbird is just like Disney’s Road Runner, it is a highly modified version of the Plymouth Road Runner for better performance. Sometimes we call it Plymouth Road Runner Superbird!
Over the years, this car brand had built many significant cars such other than some of the listed above. For example 1958 Plymouth Fury, 1939 Plymouth models, 1948 Plymouth models, 1953 Plymouth models, 1956 Plymouth models, 1975 Plymouth Duster, Plymouth Volare, Plymouth Neon (The final Plymouth model), Plymouth Valiant, and Plymouth Satellite are some other cars that are still available for sales as used cars and highly wanted in the market today.
Although Plymouth is defunct, Plymouth parts and Plymouth cars are available for sale through some of the Chrysler dealers and eBay.
