Although Pagani is a new comer to automobile world, Pagani cars have speed up all the way to world’s eighth fastest car with its top speed of 215 mph.

Pagani (Pagani Automobili S.p.A.) was founded in 1992 by Horacio Pagani who was formerly managed Lamborghini’s composite department. Pagani is famous in making high performance sports cars and carbon fibre.

The production for Pagani cars is limited and there is currently only one model made by Pagani, the Zonda. Although the company is not long compared to other car marque, the name “Pagani” is famous and well-known in making limited high performance sports cars that able to compete with some others famous sport car makers like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti, Saleen, McLaren, Jaguar, and Porsche.

Pagani Zonda

Pagani Zonda first appeared at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show. It has attracted many people to check out this car and thinking to own it right away. The first Pagani model available for sales to the market was named the Zonda C12. It is available in either 2-seat coupe or 2-seat convertible versions.

Pagani Zonda F

Pagani Zonda F or the Zonda C12 F debuted at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. Again, it strikes the Motor Show and it is the most extensive reengineering of the Pagani car, as well as the fastest Pagani car (See world’s fastest car). In 2006, Pagani Roadster F was introduced.

Pagani Zonda R Clubsport

Pagani Zonda R Clubsport was debuted in 2007. The car is using the race version engine from Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR.

In 2008, Pagani Zonda Cinque was introduced as a result of the combination of the Zonda F and Zonda R. In 2009, Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster was introduced and it was price at US$2 million. It is an exotic car with exotic price.

As of February 2011, it is estimated around 117 Pagani Zonda were built and sold worldwide. The top speed of the best model, the Zonda R is currently holding the record of 215 mph, which made Pagani famous.
