Drive to Thailand: Krabi to Phang Nga
The driving experience from Krabi to Phang Nga was the best compared to Dannok to Hatyai or Hatyai to Trang. The scenery is so beautiful and you see gorgeous moutains almost everywhere during the way to Phang Nga. There is an Elephant mountain because it looks exactly like an elephant standing there.

The Dairy Hut Farm in Phang Nga. It is a very special place before entering Phang Nga town.
I’ve never imagine that Phang Nga is such a nice place. There are moutains, hills, fountain, waterfall and monkeys. The scenery is definitely unforgettable. Besides, there are also a lot of nice food and one unforgettable food I had was “Bar Mee” which is known as Wan Tan Mee in Malaysia.
A super delicious Bar Mee in Phang Nga town. Delicious is one thing I have to say, and the cheap price is another important thing to be mentioned. It costs only 35 baht (approximately $1) for a normal Bar Mee and 40 baht for a special one.
A famous Satay shop in Phang Nga town – Satay Munag Phang-Nga Khun Tip (Phang-Nga Thip’s Satay). It was started in 1975 when Khun Thip and Khun Suchart Supaokit opened a small Satay restaurant in down town of Phang Nga. Well, you don’t have to pay tips to this shop.
Once again the stomach is filled up and the journey continues to the famous island in Thailand, Phuket. My car indicator shows I’ve traveled 510+ km so far and the fuel level is low. The computer in my MINI Cooper states that the remaining fuel in the tank can still go for approximately 130km. The distance from Phang Nga town to Phuket is about 80+ km so I decided to see how far a MINI Cooper can run if it is fed with a full tank of RON 95 petrol.
