    Mini Pickup
Here’s a genuine 1979 Mini Pickup. This is a MK4 Mini Pickup. The exterior is almost similar to MK3/MKIII Mini but there are a few parts under the hood were upgraded. The first Mini Pick-up were introduced in 1961 under the production of Austin Seven Pick-up. The car utilized the same floor pan as the Austin Se7en and Morris Minivan but had a flat loading bay and self-contained cabin. The drop-down tailgate at the rear of the load bay is what makes this car a unique one in Mini Timeline & History.

    Mini Pickup
Painted in yellow, the owner of this Mini Pickup tries to keep it as original as possible. A pair of stainless steel side mirror were added to the car to make it look shining.

    Mini Pickup
Original 10-inch wheel with chrome center cap makes the car look like an old-new pickup truck in this era.

    Mini Pickup
Gorgeous front look. Does it look like a normal MK1 Mini if you don’t see the tailgate?

    Mini Pickup
A MINI 95 decal is added to the drop-down tailgate of this car.

    Mini Pickup
Nice classic steering wheel and original Mini seat.

    Mini Pickup
It is nice to see the owner make the interior of a Mini as simple as possible. A center speedometer and a few important switches for wipers, headlamps, signals and etc. In fact, three pedals are what you need the most!

Under the hood, this Mini pickup is powered by a 998cc engine.

Notice the sliding window? This looks exactly like a MK1 door.

Last but not least, please don’t forget to leave a comment here if you have something to say about this beauty.

    Mini Cooper Sport 500 Review

With 34 liter (9 U.S. gallon) of fuel capacity, you can travel at least 500 km (310 miles) then only need to fill up your tank again. The factory-claimed top speed is only 148 km/h (92 mph) but we are managed to hit 175 km/h (108.74 mph) during a test in Manchester. The feeling of driving a Mini Cooper Sport 500? Superb, Excellent, Fantastic, and Marvellous (See also 2000 Mini Classic Seven). The Mini Cooper Sport 500 costs £10,995 when it was brand new in 2000. In 2016, after 16 years, the expected price for a genuine Mini Cooper Sport 500 is at least £25,000 (USD $35,600). • Mini Shorty

    mini-shorty
Remember the half of half Mini created by Gary Houston and the matte black scissor doors Mini Cooper appeared in Malaysia? Today we have found another interesting classic Mini known as the Mini Shorty. Look at the photo of this car, isn’t it outstanding, eye-catching, and weird? It is shorter than the ordinary short nose Mini and without any doors. However, there is an original “bean locker” on the driver’s side. To get into the car, driver and passenger have to jump in.

    mini-shorty-2

This Mr. Bean Mini Shorty is powered by a very powerful 1275cc engine with “kick shit” selector (Kick shit is how it is advertised in carandclassic.co.uk). The UK registration of this car is D 319 RLV. By looking at this car, almost all the Mini fans know this is an interesting car and it is also a funny toy to drive around. Although it is not recommend driving over 100 km/h, the 1275cc under the hood is capable of bringing this car up to a top speed of approximately 170 km/h.

    mini-shorty-3

For those who are living in France, you might have seen this car as it has been used in France for commercial events and convention.

    mini-shorty-4

The chassis of this Mini was built in 1986. It has been chopped and rebuilt to the Mini Shorty in the town of Quincy Voisins. For those who are interested to own this cute toy, you may want to contact the owner before it is too late. The asking price is £2400 with free delivery to Calais, France.

    mini-shorty-5

As you can see from the photos, this Mini car is one of its kinds. The owner uses British flag designed side mirror, 12 inches Minilite wheel with tartan designed interior. The rest of it is quite standard with three clock center binnacle.

    mini-shorty-6

Oh yeah, £2400 for a Mini without doors, roof, main windscreen, rear windows, and both side windows. Are you afraid of it?

  • It’s just half of a Mini

    mini Mini
Gary Houston from Newcastle, United Kingdom, has one really exciting Mini. The car is half of an ordinary Austin Mini. What? Just half? Yes, the ordinary Mini is small enough but this mini Mini is one of a kind. Two of these cars only need to pay one parking ticket because they are able to fit into one parking lot.

    mini Mini
This mini Mini is painted in metallic yellow. The front looks like an ordinary Austin Mini but the rear seats and roof top have been chopped off. Down there, it was fitted with 13” x 7” Minilite. Up there, it has some standard brightwork including stainless steel wiper kit and windscreen chrome fillet. Side mirrors are bullet style.

    mini Mini
A glance from the backside, the rear lamp is fitted with jewel crystal rear tail lights.

    mini Mini
It has only two seats and bucket seat with yellow piping is chosen.

    mini Mini
For this special mini Mini,  we rate 10/10. What will you rate then?
