  • Mini rollover, eat some mud, and back on road again

    Red Mini
    Before the rollover crash

A red color Mini had a rollover accident during a classic Mini convoy from Kuala Lumpurto Pahang last year. The driver is believed lose control and leave the roadway and crashed in the canyon that is about three meters deep. He did not get pinned in the car and he is managed to get out from the car. A tow truck was there to tow the car out from the mud. No injuries occurred as a result of the accident.

As for the poor red Mini, it received some dents on the body as well as front bumper and the left rear side windscreen was broken. Other than that, no major damage except it’s all covered with mud especially the left door panel. Thanks to the strong engine sump guard, the engine did not damage at all. Stainless steel Aston fuel cap locked the petrol tank tight too. The car just start after it is being “landed” again.

Owner of the red Mini drove the car few hundred miles again after the incident. Now that’s the spirit of Malaysia Mini Drivers! The rest of the story can be read from the 14 photos shared here taken from Rudy Harris.

  • A day for Fiat 500 to get together

    Fiat 500
The cute little car Fiat 500 was first introduced by Fiat in July 1957 as the Nuova (means new in Italian). It was designed by Dante Giacosa. With only ~10 feet long and ~4+ feet wide, it is a very practical car to be used in town because it doesn’t require a powerful engine. The Fiat 500 is originally powered by a highly fuel saving 479 cc two-cylinder engine, giving a very decent horse power to bring four adults from one place to another. The outlook of this 2-door car is cute with chubby face. Owners do not have to worry about carrying large item because it has a full-length sunroof where large item can be carried by the car easily.

  • This is how you bring a car into your room

    MG Midget
Don’t you think only people who crazy about cars will keep their cars in their living room? The MG Midget in the photos is obviously well pampered by its owner. It has a special room and the owner put it inside the house. The car will definitely clean because it stays away from any dust and the room probably equipped with air-conditioning. In order to bring the car into the room, there is a huge price to pay. The room is located at second floor in a building that doesn’t have a huge entrance. The car has to go through some really hardcore ways to go into its room through the extremely slim window without scratching the car body. See how these professionals do their job, you will feel amazing!

Can you believe they are bringing the car through this window?

    MG Midget
Notice that the engine has been removed from the car to reduce its weight?

Well, it has to go in “Sleep Way”.

    Ready to go!

Most people have their cars kept in garage when they are not in use. Car collectors who collect unique and special cars often have special place to store them and preserve them just like the world’s most desirable garage.
