The legendary Acura NSX is back!
It was told that the Acura NSX (also known as Honda NSX) has no return, but we spotted a NSX look-alike supercar appeared during the shooting for the 2012 “The Avengers” in Central Park, New York. This time, the Iron Man has tossed away the Audi R8 and the supercar has been replaced with this NSX-like mid-engined sports car. As what we see, hero needs a super cool ride to pick up the girl. Well, it could be the sweet Gwyneth Paltrow or the sexy Scarlett Johansson.
The car is suspect to be the next generation of Acura NSX although rumors flying around said the car will no longer into production. However, some of Acura fans are still strongly believe that the NSX will be returned because they couldn’t find anything to have better feeling than the NSX. It will be a dream and NSX hardcore fans choose not to believe the no-return of the NSX.
The car was spotted during the shooting is driven by Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) with the registration plate “NEW YORK, STARK 33, EMPIRE STATE” for use in the movie. From the rear, if we compared the last generation of the NSX, a 2005 Acura NSX and the spotted car, it doesn’t look similar, but it could be a major change (Yeah, that’s what Acura fans was hoping). The front of the car looks as fierce as Iron Man’s previous ride, the R8. Although the front and back doesn’t seems to look similar if compare this car with the 2005 Acura NSX, the overall felling of a NSX there. Who knows it will be the next generation?
